Silver Falls

This was a little one night trip since we got a site last minute.  Great wooded location within 1.25 hours from Portland.

Overview/Other hints:  Close to Portland and very nice campground in the woods.  Awesome trails with waterfalls and a old cottage snack bar.

Tumalo State Park

Memorial Day weekend 2014 we took the poppy to Tumalo State Park in Bend.  We had a great time with our camping partners Tiffany, Pete and family.  Also the Joye family joined us for one evening.  We actually parked the poppy in the driveway of a Yurt since that is what we managed to book 9 months earlier.

Best sites to snag next time:  56, 58, 59 because they are near the trails

Overview/Other hints:  So much to do in Bend, Small campground with floating once the kids get older.



L.L. Stub

On May 16, 2014 we took the pop up to  LL Stub on its inaugural trip.  We got the hang of backing the rig up, setting it up and popping beer caps off via the side of the truck.

Overview/Other hints:  Close to Portland and on the Banks-Verona trail but the campground lacks trees and character.
